INTRODUCTION

Students in the program are trained to provide customers regular manicures, pedicures, sculptured nails, nail tips, wraps, gel, and rebases.  Students also study nail anatomy, disorders, diseases as well as product knowledge.

OBJECTIVES

The purpose of class instruction is to develop skills and knowledge necessary to perform basic and advanced nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, nail art and artificial nail enhancements.

CERTIFICATION

To certify and be recommended for the State Board exam, students must complete a minimum of 600 contact hours, maintain a grade of 70%, be at least 16 years of age to apply for the State Board Exam.
