INTRODUCTION

Students in the program are trained to provide customer’s basic facials, spa facials, skin analysis, basic and advanced makeup application to include strip and tab eyelashes, lash and brow tinting and waxing services.  Students also study anatomy, skin disorders and diseases, as well as product knowledge. 

OBJECTIVES

The purpose of class instruction is to develop skills and knowledge necessary to perform skin care services such as facials, extractions, waxing, makeup application and false eyelash enhancements.

CERTIFICATION

To certify and be recommended for the State Board exam, students must complete a minimum of 600 contact hours, maintain a grade of 70%, be at least 16 years of age by the time they take their State board exam.
